Regular Maintenance Extends Car Life

F3

The numbers are in and the results positive. Today’s cars last an average of 11.4 years with proper maintenance. The numbers are drastically reduced when cars are not a part of a regular maintenance program.

A regular oil change is just one maintenance routine that impacts the life of a car. While some car manuals suggest oil changes are only needed every 6,000 – 10,000 miles, many don’t read the fine print that states the car can burn up to one quart of oil for every 1,000 miles traveled—Requiring a 6 quart car to change its oil every 3,000 miles.

Check with your mechanic and determine the best maintenance schedule to extend the life of your car.
